Prime Minister Imran Khan thanked and praised overseas Pakistanis after Pakistan’s funds received through Roshan Digital Account have crossed one billion dollars, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet uploaded on Saturday, the prime minister said. “I would like to thank our overseas Pakistanis for their overwhelming response; also appreciate the efforts of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and banks for achieving this significant milestone in such a short period. #1billionRDA.”

Roshan Digital Account is a major initiative of the State Bank of Pakistan, in collaboration with commercial banks operating in the country. These accounts provide innovative banking solutions for millions of Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs), including Non-Resident Pakistan Origin Card (POC) holders, seeking to undertake banking, payment and investment activities in Pakistan.
