A man of Hafizabad sustained critical injuries after a ‘friend’ of him slit his throat with a sickle over a monetary dispute of Rs100, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Abbas, a resident of Mohalla Sharifpura, Hafizabad had borrowed Rs100 from his friend Amanat, police said.
Amanat slit throat of Abbas with a sickle (grass hook) during a brawl occurred between the two over return of the money, police added.
Abbas was injured critically and rushed to Hafizabad Trauma Centre, police stated.
