Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has announced rewards for Shahzaib Rindh, the karate champion who won over his Indian counterpart in a recent showdown in Dubai, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti warmly received Shahzaib Rind at CM House Quetta on Wednesday, the captain of the Karate Combat team, where he extended heartfelt congratulations for his remarkable feat against India.

The Chief Minister also announced a job and cash award of 2 million rupees for Shahzaib saying that the Balochistan government would pay all the expenses of Shahzeb Rind's professional training and travel abroad and also directed the Secretary Sports in this regard.

Shahzaib is the pride of Balochistan and Pakistan, sports ambassador from Balochistan, Shahzaib made the name of Pakistan at the global level, he said.

He said that measures were being taken to provide all facilities to players so that they could show their talent at international level games for making brighten the name of the country and Balochistan.

Shahzaib Rind, in response, expressed gratitude to the government for the encouragement and vowed to continue bringing glory to the nation through his sporting prowess.
