Pakistani actress Nazish Jahangir is in the spotlight after responding to a question about a marriage proposal with Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam.

Her reply triggered trolls from Babar's fans, making her switch her Instagram handle to private.

One of Nazish’s 'fans took a stand' for her and she shared that stance,

The post reads: “She politely answered that she wouldn’t be interested in marrying Babar Azam. Nothing more nothing less.

“Now I have been seeing some offensive and unethical comments on different posts by his fans (which I feel are not real fans just those morons that want to be part of the rat race of calling people out).

“Guys grow up THAT’S HER CHOICE!!

“It’s not a national security issue ... it’s just a little light-hearted answer ... nothing more. Why do you guys have to make it an issue?

“I hope one day we see real people on the internet, not the fake profiles encouraging hatred and negativity ...

In case the readers are unaware, it all started when Nazish started the question-and-answer session on Instagram to throw away her boredom and a social user asked her, “What will be your reply to Babar Azam's proposal ”.

Nazish replied no. 

“Na meri cricketers se leni na deni (I have nothing to do with cricketers), all are bros to me tbh [to be honest],” she added.
