Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a telephone conversation with Bahraini Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, during which the Bahraini minister conveyed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives caused by heavy rains and floods across Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Sunday.

Lt. Gen. Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa extended heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased, assuring Pakistan of Bahrain’s support during this difficult period.

He offered all possible assistance for the relief and rehabilitation of flood victims, stressing that “we stand with our Pakistani brothers and sisters in this difficult time” and reaffirming Bahrain’s readiness to provide help to those affected.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude to his Bahraini counterpart for the solidarity and goodwill.

He noted that Pakistan is among the countries most severely impacted by climate change, where the recurring cycles of floods have devastated communities and livelihoods.

“The devastation caused by rains and cloudbursts cannot be described in words,” Naqvi remarked, underscoring the urgent need for international cooperation in addressing climate-induced disasters.
