One brother died on the spot, and another became seriously injured when a speedy bus crushed them in Muridke, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
The accident took place near Jeetuwala Chowk in Muridke. Soon after receiving the report, a police team immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured brothers to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) in Muridke.
Both brothers were identified as Ahmad, 13, and Zeeshan, sons of Tanveer, who was admitted to the hospital due to critical injuries.
Later, Zeeshan was shifted to a hospital in Lahore due to his serious condition, and the dead body of Ahmad was handed over to his parents for burial.
The driver of the bus managed to escape from the scene.
