The shortage of planes has created problems for the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), which has now decided to restrict its flight operations to Paris, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that the airline had decided to stop its flight operation from Lahore to Paris and vice versa.
They informed that the PIA’s last flight from Paris to Lahore would take off on September 12, while from Lahore to Paris on September 17.
However, the spokesman for the airline said that the flight operation between Islamabad and Paris would continue as usual.
On June 18, the national flag carrier had started flights between Paris and Lahore twice a week.
Out of a total of 12 Boeing 777, nicknamed the "Triple Seven, in the PIA’s fleet, seven are grounded.
The airline is using these planes for flight operations to different destinations in Saudi Arabia, Paris and Toronto.
