The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalized its candidates for two key constituencies of the Punjab Assembly and National Assembly, choosing to allocate tickets to family members of previously disqualified nominees, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to party insiders, Munza Fatima has been awarded the ticket for Punjab Assembly constituency PP-87, while Ain Ahmad has been nominated as PTI’s candidate from National Assembly constituency NA-66, a seat linked to Ahmad Muhammad Chattha.
The decision to grant both tickets within the families of disqualified candidates suggests PTI’s strategy of maintaining political influence in these constituencies by keeping representation within the same households.
