Sophie Turner has opened up about her future plans, revealing that she is certain about one thing in life — she has no intention of leaving the United Kingdom again.

The 29-year-old actress, best known for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, shared her thoughts in a candid conversation with Flaunt magazine. Turner, who shares two daughters, Willa and Delphine, with ex-husband Joe Jonas, reflected on the importance of family and home in shaping her outlook.

Having spent years in the United States during her marriage to the pop star, Turner moved back to her native England following their separation. Now, she insists she has found her true sense of belonging.

“I just feel so at home here; I never want to move again,” Turner said, emphasizing that being close to her roots has brought her immense peace.

The actress added that her time away gave her a deeper appreciation for her loved ones. “Living in the States, I didn’t appreciate how much you need friends and family and how integral they are to your wellness until you’re away from them. I came back with an abundance of appreciation for them.”

Turner’s comments shed light on how personal experiences, including her marriage and subsequent separation, have shaped her views on life and stability. She admitted that the support system she has in the UK has been essential in helping her rebuild after her split.

Beyond her personal reflections, Turner also discussed her upcoming thriller Trust, in which she plays an actress hiding in a remote cabin after being caught in a scandal. For Turner, the role resonated deeply as it mirrored some of her own challenges in navigating fame and privacy.

“I feel lucky to have worked on something that comments on so much that I have been personally affected by,” she explained. “Being a mother has affected me more than I can ever say. I can now bring so much of that into my work and into this film too.”

Turner has often credited motherhood for giving her a new perspective, noting that her daughters have inspired her growth both personally and professionally. She has previously spoken about the challenges of balancing career and family life but maintains that motherhood has only made her stronger.

The actress, who will also star in the upcoming drama Joan, says her new projects reflect her evolving self, both as a performer and as a mother.

For fans, her commitment to staying in the UK signals a new chapter,  one defined not by Hollywood glamour but by stability, family, and creative work that resonates with her personal journey.
