National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrested Mohammad Waqas, who is involved in spreading pornographic material of children, from Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to details, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children shared credible information about the presence of the accused involved in uploading and sharing sexually abusive material against children on social media.
The NCCIA team raided the location and arrested the accused, Mohammad Waqas. During the investigation, objectionable material related to harassment and exploitation was recovered from the accused's mobile phone, and forensic analysis has also revealed serious evidence.
The arrested accused was a resident of Mansehra. Police also seized a mobile phone, different SIM cards, and other digital records during the time of the raid at his location.
NCCIA also registered a case under Section 22 of the PECA Act 2016. Further investigation was underway.
