Malik Noor Hassan, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in South Waziristan, announced his defection to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
On the occasion, Malik Noor Hassan who has twice been a candidate for National Assembly from South Waziristan said that the PTI was nothing but mere slogans. “I am joining the PPP for public service,” he added.
A large number of people attended the ceremony organised on his defection to the PPP and chanted ‘Jiye Bhutto’ slogans.
