The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday witnessed a sharp decline in share prices as the benchmark KSE-100 index plummeted by more than 900 points breaching the psychological barrier of 45,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Yesterday, the market index closed at 45,132, and today, on the fourth day of the business week, it fell below the 45,000-psychological mark, shedding more than 900 points and currently trading at 44,490.

Experts are of the view that the market is witnessing a sharp decline due to Russia’s war on Ukraine.
