As many as nine flights of different airlines which were scheduled to depart from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) were cancelled due to various operational and technical issues on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A Serene Air flight ER-811 which was scheduled to land in Jeddah from Karachi was cancelled and another Serene Air flight ER-522 which was scheduled to arrive at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) Lahore from Karachi was also cancelled.
A Serene Air flight ER-502 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi for Quetta.
An Air Sial flight PF-145 destined for Lahore from Karachi was cancelled.
An Emirates Airlines flight ER-609 which was scheduled to reach Dubai from Karachi was cancelled.
A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-241 which was scheduled to take-off from Karachi en-route to Dammam was cancelled.
A PIA flight PK-310 which was scheduled to land in Quetta from Karachi was cancelled.
Another PIA flight PK-157 bound for Salam Kot from Karachi was cancelled.
A Baltic Airlines flight OD-136 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Kuala Lumpur from Karachi.
