Sindh Revenue Board collects record revenue

The annual report of Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) showed an increase of Rs300 billion in annual collection during fiscal year 2024-25, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The SRB annual report of 2024-25 was presented in the Sindh Assembly.

According to the report, the total receivables of the Sindh Revenue Board reached Rs306.6 billion. Rs284.4 billion were collected under the head of sales tax on services.

Records Rs40.5 billion were collected during June 2025. The percentage of collection was 29.5 percent during the same period of the previous fiscal year.

An increase of 29.5 percent was recorded in the annual collection. The ports, airports, and terminal operators sectors remained on top in revenue collection.

The second sector of revenue collection was telecommunication. A 27 percent increase was recorded in receivables of the banking sector.

The 49 percent growth was recorded in software and IT consultancy. The transportation sector posted 50 percent growth.

Funds and Asset Management recorded 162 growth, and insurance and franchise sectors also posted positive growth.
