Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem and athlete Faiqa Riaz have departed from Lahore Airport via Doha, heading to Paris for the upcoming Olympics on Wednesday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Faiqa Riaz is scheduled to compete in the 100-meter race on August 2, while Commonwealth Gold Medalist Arshad Nadeem will begin his campaign in the javelin throw group stage on August 6.
The channel reported that if Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem qualifies from the group stage, he will participate in the final round on August 8.
Jjavelin thrower Arshad Nadeem previously won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022 and a silver medal at the World Athletics Games 2023.
