National Disaster Management Authority's (NDMA) has released details of casualties and property damages caused by monsoon rains across the country, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to NDMA report, at least 9 people have died and 54 others were injured in the last 24 hours. A total of 81 people have lost their lives between June 26 and July 23. A total of 241 people have been injured so far. The fatalities include 35 children, 27 men, and 19 women.
47 people lost their lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 21 in Punjab, 7 in Azad Kashmir, and 6 in Balochistan. 154 people were injured in Punjab, 70 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 in Balochistan, and 2 in Azad Kashmir.
A total of 387 houses were damaged. A total of 207 livestock have been lost to the floods so far. The rains damaged 6.7 kilometers of roads.
