Good news comes for the masses of the federal capital, as Islamabad's excise department Friday rolled out Quick Response (QR) code for vehicle verification, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Director Excise Islamabad Bilal Azam said that a QR code has been introduced to check the condition of the vehicle.

He went on to say the status of the car or smart card can be easily checked through a QR code.

Bilal Azam said the verification by QR code will be facilitated through the app on mobile.
