Shahid Akhtar, the elder brother of former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, has died, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday
According to the family, the funeral prayer will be offered at 5:30pm in the evening at Islamabad’s H-8 graveyard, after which he will be laid to rest.
The death has brought grief to the family of the former cricketer, who remained one of Pakistan’s most recognisable fast bowlers during his playing career.
