In a heartbreaking incident, a three-year-old girl was brutally murdered after rape in Karachi, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Police found the tortured body of a girl near her house in Karachi. The postmortem report also confirmed the rape and torture of the girl.
Sindh Home Minister Zia Lanjar took notice of the rape and murder of a minor girl in Karachi and directed the arrest of the accused with the help of the latest technology.
Zia Lanjar also summoned a detailed and comprehensive report about the incident from the SSP Malir. He said that those who committed this heinous crime will not be spared.
He said that forensic evidence should be obtained for the identification and detection of accused persons.
He expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the victim’s family and assured them their all-out support.
Zia Lanjar said that an investigation must be conducted on a daily basis and apprise him about the progress of the case.
Dead body of boy recovered in Faisalabad
Police found the dead body of a 7-year-old boy, Shakeel, near his house in Chak No. 71-GB in the jurisdiction of Police Station Thekriwala.
The signs of rope were visible on the throat of the body. Later, the police took custody of the dead body and shifted it to the hospital for an autopsy.
Police started legal proceedings in the case.
Kidnapped boy recovered in Abbottabad
Police retrieved an infant boy from the village of Kathwal and handed him over to his parents. According to details, a woman willfully took the infant child from the nursery of the Women and Children Hospital.
A serious question also arose about the security standard of the Women and Children Hospital in Abbottabad.
Residents of the area demanded that the hospital should be equipped with the latest technology so such a crime should not happen in the future.
