A delegation comprising the leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has arrived at Zardari House in Islamabad on Thursday (today) for consultations on the no-confidence motion and their possible defection from the government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aamir Khan, and other leaders are part of the delegation.
Sources privy to the development say that issues between the PPP and the MQM are likely be finalised in the meeting.
The meeting is also expected to witness a progress on the proposed agreement between the PPP and the MQM-P.
It is to be noted here that new demands had emerged in the ongoing talks between the PPP and the MQM-P for a no-confidence motion against the prime minister.
Senior PPP leaders and legal experts had also objected to some provisions of the proposed agreement between the two parties.
However, today’s talks are likely to be fruitful.
