Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid a surprised visit to Jinnah Hospital Lahore on Monday and suspended Medical Superintendent (MS) of the hospital over poor performance after receiving plethora of complaints by the patients and attendances, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
During her visit, Chief Minister also inspected the medicine store and found sufficient medicines which were being denied to the patients. Shew questioned the MS that medicines were available in the medicine store why they were not giving it to the patients?
CM Maryam also visited the Jinnah Hospital Emergency Ward and talks to patients and doctors in emergency ward. She also inquired about medicine and medical tests.
On the occasion, patients lodged complaints about non-availability of medicines and services in Jinnah Hospital especially in emergency ward. Maryam Nawaz expressed displeasure over non-availability of medicine in emergency ward.
