As many as five people travelling in a car were killed when the vehicle rammed into a bus in Pasrur near Sialkot, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Rescue 1122 staffers managed to pull the bodies out of the rubble with the help of heavy machinery.
The accident occurred on Pasrur Road where a rashly-driven WagonR hit a stationary bus which was parked on the roadside at the Lakhanpur Stop, killing five persons on the spot.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the dead bodied to a nearby hospital.
Police officials informed media men that the identity of the deceased was not yet established.
Two die in Multan
Two people were killed while one was injured when a speeding Vigo crashed into a Qingqi rickshaw near Pearl Continental Hotel in Multan.
According to the Rescue 1122, one of the deceased was identified as 32-year-old Abid, while the identity of the other deceased, aged 35, could not be fully established.
The injured youth was identified as 22-year-old Muhammad Adeel.
The bodies as well as the injured were taken to Nishtar Hospital.
