Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has hosted a ceremony in honour of Pakistan Super League (PSL-11) teams and domestic and foreign players, reported 24NewsD TV channel on Tuesday.
Mohsin Naqvi welcomed domestic and foreign players and dignitaries.
The PSL-11 trophy was unveiled during the ceremony where the PSL-11 anthem was also launched.
Addressing the ceremony, Mohsin Naqvi said that due to the regional situation, PSL-11 has been limited keeping in mind national interests.
He said PSL has become a top international brand and they have to take it further.
“I apologize to the cricket fans from the bottom of my heart, you have to see the wider interest of the country and nation first, I am sure that today's sacrifice will come to the fore as tomorrow's ease,” he maintained.
Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Attaullah Tarar, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Ali Pervaiz Malik also attended the ceremony.
Speaker Punjab Assembly, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Minister Shafay Hussain, former Federal Minister Gohar Ijaz also attended the ceremony.
