Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah taking strict notice of the daily traffic jams in Karachi has directed the Additional IG to restore traffic flow at all costs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement on Tuesday, CM Murad said that it is regrettable to see citizens stuck in traffic jams. Negligence in this regard will not be tolerated, he added.
The Chief Minister also ordered to increase the number of traffic officials on important roads and highways.
He also directed to strictly implement the law prohibiting heavy traffic and timings on prohibited roads.
Meanwhile, a speeding car crushed two motorcyclists to death in Quaidabad in Karachi on Tuesday.
