US President Donald Trump retweeted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s statement on social media in which Prime Minister has shown willingness to host Iran-US talks, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said in a social media statement that Pakistan welcomes and fully supports ongoing efforts to negotiate an end to the war in the Middle East, in the interest of peace and stability in the region and beyond.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif further wrote in his X account that, “If the US and Iran agree, Pakistan would be honored to host and facilitate meaningful and decisive talks for a comprehensive resolution to the ongoing conflict and is fully prepared to do so”.
The Prime Minister had tagged Trump, Stevkov and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in his message.
