Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore has indicted 254 PTI leaders and workers in Jinnah House Attack case on Saturday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
ATC admin judge Manzar Ali Gill heard the case at Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore.
PTI leaders Alia Hamza, Rubina Jamil, Khadija Shah, Ijaz Chaudhry, Omar Sarfraz Cheema, Mian Mahmood-ul-Rasheed and others were indicted.
The accused in the case denied the crime. Two accused in Jinnah House attack case had been died while 10 accused had already been declared absconders.
DSP Investigation Javed Asif appeared on behalf of the police. Prosecutor Azar and Prosecutor Nayyar Naveed appeared on behalf of the prosecution.
On next hearing, the court summoned witnesses to testify against the accused.
Rana Mudassar Umar Advocate and Burhan Moazzam Malik Advocate appeared on behalf of the accused. PTI leaders are accused of inciting workers to revolt and riot on May 9.
Meanwhile, prosecution witnesses recoded their statements against PTI leaders and workers in Sherpao Bridge hate speech and arson cases. ATC Judge Arshad Javed conducted the hearing at Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore. Till now more than 50 witnesses have recorded their statements against the convicted PTI leaders and workers.
One witness also recorded statement in setting PML-N office on fire case. One witnesses recorded his statement in Kalma Chowk container fire case.
PTI leaders Dr Yasmin Rashid, Alia Hamza, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Ijaz Ch, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed and other registered their attendance.
Advocate Rana Mudassar Umar and Malik Burhan Moazzam appeared in the court on behalf of the convict.
Later the court put off the hearing till May 27.
