Madinah Bus administration has announced a special shuttle bus service for the Day of Arafah and Eid al-Adha prayers to facilitate the movement of worshippers and visitors to key holy sites, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the administration said the shuttle service would operate for visitors travelling to Al Masjid-e-Nabawi and Quba Mosque during the religious occasions.
Officials said the special service on the Day of Arafah would begin at 12:00 noon and continue until one hour after the Isha prayer through designated stations and routes.
The routes included services from Sayyid Al-Shuhada Station, Al Salam College Station, and the Shaza District to the Al Masjid-e-Nabawi.
Additional shuttle buses will also operate from Garden Station to the Al Masjid-e-Nabawi and from Al Aliyah Station to Quba Mosque, authorities said.
On the first day of Eid al-Adha, several major routes serving worshippers travelling to the Al Masjid-e-Nabawi and Quba Mosque will continue operating until 8:00 am to accommodate increased crowds.
