The Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar and three other university officials who went missing earlier this month have been recovered safely in Balochistan’s Mastung district, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to police officials, Vice Chancellor Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Syed Manzoor Ahmed had disappeared while travelling from Gwadar to Quetta.
The other missing officials were identified as Personal Staff Officer Dr Irshad Baloch and driver Hatim Badal.
Police sources said all four officials had gone missing on May 13 and were recovered from Mastung district.
Family sources later confirmed that the vice chancellor returned home safely on Sunday evening.
Authorities have not yet disclosed details regarding the circumstances of their disappearance or recovery, while no group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
