Crime Control Department (CCD) arrested honey trap gang, who used to pretend to be employees of CCD in Toba Tek Singh, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
According to the CCD, the Police constable Muhammad Qasim, turns out to be the ringleader of the gang, while nine others including two women were arrested. The accused include Asifa, Rashida, Muhammad Naeem, Wali Muhammad, Imran Saleem, Mudassar, Asif and Fayyaz.
According to the CCD, the accused used to trap citizens in obscene videos under the guise of women and used to demand millions of rupees, jewelry and mobile phones from them by blackmailing. The gang also robbed overseas Pakistanis and the victims used to avoid legal action due to fear and fame.
The obscene videos of the citizens were also recovered from the possession of the accused.
