Anti-Corruption Multan circle has arrested Munawar Qureshi, owner of Munawar pharma company in Rs140 million fraud case, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. The raid was conducted on the instructions of Director Anti-Corruption Basharat Nabi led by Circle Officer Naveed Anjum.
Munawar Qureshi has been accused of colluding with health department officers and 140 million rupees worth of medicines were embezzled.
According to the details, Senior Civil Judge Ehsan Sabir's court on Friday approved 6-day physical remand of Munawar Qureshi.
Moreover, the teams have been formed to arrest involved health department officers and employees.
