Pakistani pilgrims hit the top mark after Saudi government granted Umrah visas to over four million Pakistanis for the current season, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Data released by the Saudi Ministry for Hajj and Umrah, 40,00,000 Umrah visas were issued to Pakistani pilgrims.
Indonesia became the second and India the third, country whose citizens were granted Umrah visas.
According to Saudi Arabia, the Umrah season started in the middle of June, soon after the Hajj season.
