The poling process has completed and counting process continued during Local Bodies by election in Karachi and Interior Sindh. According to unofficial results, PPP candidates leads in various Union council wards.
According to unofficial result of UC 8 Sohrab Goth, PPP Vice Chairman candidate Mir Shahroz Brohi secured 1670 votes and got victory while independent candidate Jalil Ahmed came second with 186 votes and Asif Khan of Jamaat-e-Islami came third with 170 votes.
In Hyderabad, complete unofficial results for the Vice Chairman seat of Sachal Sarmast Town Municipal Corporation UC-106, independent candidate Qazi Khalil Ahmed wins with 554 votes. PTI-backed candidate Amirzada comes second with 399 votes.
In Mirpur Mathelo UC Wahi Ghoto Chairman election, PPP candidate Khalid Hussain won by securing 2573 votes. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam candidate Muhammad Amin Gadani came second by securing 1712 votes and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan candidate Zulfiqar Ali Shar managed to secure 434 votes.
In Sukkur, according to the unofficial and unofficial results, PPP candidate Nazir Ahmed Gopang was declared successful in Ward No. 2 of UC 8 Adam Shah Colony by securing 458 votes. PTI-backed candidate Abdul Razak Malik was in second place by securing 265 votes. PPP candidate got a lead of 185 votes.
In Sukkur the counting process for the by-election for the Vice Chairman seat in UC-26 Kotri has been completed. According to the unofficial and unofficial results in UC-26, PPP candidate Muhammad Sobal was declared successful by securing 2674 votes. JUI candidate Muhammad Dawood came in second by securing 765 votes.
According to unofficial results of polling station number 12 of Baldia Town UC-8 Karachi, PPP candidate Muhammad Faisal leads with 142 votes. PTI's independent candidate remained second place with 43 votes while Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan's Jafar Rizvi is in third place with 32 votes. The total number of voters is 1400 while total votes cast are 240.
In polling station number 1 of TMC Sohrab Goth UC 8, People's Party candidate Shahroz Ahmed leads with 300 votes while Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Asif Khan is in second place with 195 votes.
In Manghopir UC 10 TCF Polling Station, JUI candidate got 57 votes, PPP candidate 51 votes and ANP candidate got 49 votes. Workers of two political parties protest at a polling station in New Lyari where additional police personnel were called in. The situation in the area remained tense. During by-elections for the seat of Orangi Town UC-1 Chairman, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Khurshid Alam leads with 115 votes. Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan is in second place with 114 votes and PPP candidate is in third place with 108 votes.
