Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor has found himself at the centre of an unexpected social media roast after an intense emotional scene from his drama serial Nashtar went viral, with viewers questioning his exaggerated expressions and dramatic dialogue delivery.
The actor’s portrayal of an emotional breakdown quickly caught the attention of netizens, who picked apart his facial expressions, shouting style and overall performance in the highly charged sequence.
Joining the online conversation, prominent Pakistani actress Mishi Khan also appeared to poke fun at the scene. Reacting to the viral clip, she commented: “What is he saying some kinda alien language”, seemingly taking a humorous dig at Taimoor’s heavily distorted voice and exaggerated dialogue delivery.
The scene features Danish playing Shah Dawood, who reacts aggressively to the sudden death of his father. Overwhelmed with grief, his character breaks down hysterically and confronts a doctor at the hospital, resulting in a highly dramatic exchange.
However, instead of receiving sympathy from viewers, the sequence sparked a wave of memes and humorous reactions across social media. Several users criticised what they perceived as an overly theatrical, rigid and excessively loud acting style.
