Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders and lawyers left the Dahgal checkpoint on Thursday after the scheduled time for meeting party founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail expired without permission being granted for the meeting.
Lawyers Ghulam Farooq Awan, Syed Sohail Mukarram and Ziaullah Khan had arrived on Adiala Road seeking a meeting with the PTI founder.
Syed Ubaid Kazmi, Farzana Safeer and Asma Raja had also reached the area.
However, no party leader was granted permission to meet Imran Khan before the scheduled meeting time ended.
The six names had earlier been submitted to the jail authorities for a proposed meeting with the PTI founder.
All the leaders later departed from the Dahgal checkpoint.
Traffic on Adiala Road continued to flow normally.
