Taking action on the disqualification reference, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday summoned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) dissident members of the National Assembly and Punjab Assembly.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the ECP summoned the MNAs on April 28 and MPAs on May 6.
As per the report, the ECP issued notices to 23 PTI deviant members of the National Assembly and 26 members of the provincial assembly.
Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi moved the reference.
