In a shocking turn of events, Kim Kardashian is facing a major social media crisis as she experiences a significant drop in her follower count.
The reality star and business mogul lost a staggering 500,000 followers shortly after Taylor Swift released her new track titled 'thanK you aIMee'.
Before the album release, Kim had 364.3 million Instagram followers. But after the release, her count dropped to 363.8 million unexpectedly.
There are several references to the star in the track and even the letters K, I and M are capitalized in the song title to spell the makeup mogul's first name.

Other references can be seen in the song's lyrics, which read, "And maybe you've reframed it... And in your mind, you never beat my spirit black and blue... I don't think you've changed much... And so I changed your name and any real defining clues... And one day, your kid comes home singin'... A song that only us two is gonna know is about you, 'cause."
Reacting to the song on X, a user wrote, "I didn’t think I could love #TaylorSwift anymore and then she absolutely OWNED #KimKardashian. At this point, I’d just crawl under a rock if I was Kim." Another commented, "Taylor Swift taking shots at Kim Kardashian has me dying. Taylor is the queen of dissing people in her music and I respect that." A third user wrote, "Taylor Swift trolling Kim Kardashian is 2024 I’ve been waiting for…"
In case readers are not aware, In 2009, Kim's ex-husband Kanye West interrupted Taylor's VMAs acceptance speech, claiming she didn't deserve her award.

Later, in his 2016 song Famous, Kanye rapped about Taylor, which she objected to, calling it misogynistic.
Kim defended Kanye on her show and posted clips of a phone call between Kanye and Taylor to prove she approved the song. However, another leaked video showed Kim and Kanye not giving Taylor full details about the song. Taylor referenced the incident in her 2017 album Reputation.
However, a source told People about Kim's response: “She’s over it and thinks Taylor should move on.” Kim “doesn’t get why (Taylor) keeps harping on it,” the source said. “It’s been literally years.”
