It is said that poverty is the cause of all evils and it also brings along a load of problems, sometimes they are fatal.

Same happened with a poverty-stricken family of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when they sought shelter in a mountainous cave amid stormy rains in the province.

The son died under the rubble while the father was severely injured when the roof of the cave collapsed in Bara area of Khyber district on Thursday, reported 24newsHD TV channel.

As per details, the poor father and son were peacefully living in the cave but the tragedy struck and took away all their happiness.

The roof of the cave was weakened due to the recent heavy rains in Khyber bringing it down on them all of a sudden..

Woman dies in incident of roof collapse in Khyber

Earlier, a woman was killed while her two sons were injured when the roof of her house caved in due to persistent rains in the district of Khyber.

Moreover, it is pertinent to mention here that rains lashed different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in previous days which claimed many lives and damaged many homes.

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), more rains were predicted in the coming days.
