An explosion occurred behind the residence of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader and provincial minister Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani in Dera Murad Jamali, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into the incident on Saturday.
According to police, CCTV footage has surfaced showing two motorcyclists placing an object behind the minister’s house before leaving the scene. The explosives reportedly detonated shortly after their departure.
Officials said the blast caused significant damage to a nearby transformer, though no casualties have been reported so far.
Police confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway to identify and apprehend those involved. Security in the area has been beefed up following the incident.
