The Supreme Court has fixed for hearing on September 16 the case concerning the hospital transfer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, along with other petitions related to the matter.
According to the judges’ roster released by the Supreme Court, the cases will be heard by a three-member bench headed by Justice Shahid Waheed.
Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim are part of the three-member bench.
The release of the new judges’ roster has formally scheduled the matter for hearing, with the petitions now set to come before the three-member bench in September.
The development comes as the issue of the PTI founder’s medical treatment and possible hospital transfer remains a matter of legal and political significance. The Supreme Court will hear the petitions and determine the next course of proceedings in the case.
