A jawan of Dolphin Force died in a traffic accident in Green Town locality of Lahore on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said that Ghazanfar was on his way back to his home after performing duty that he had an accident at Chorus tank. The jawan died on the spot.
Police handed over the deceased’s corpse to his family after the completion of legal formalities.
Also on Thursday, a 22-year-old student of a private university died after falling from the fourth floor of a campus building on Defence Road.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Owais, a Pharm-D student of Semester Five, Section D.
Police said Owais fell from the fourth floor under circumstances that are yet to be determined.
Fellow students rushed him to the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police said an investigation is under way to ascertain whether the incident was an accident or a case of suicide.
