Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Ch Shujaat Hussain Friday stated that politicians would end up losing people’s trust in them if they persisted in political meetings ignoring public problems, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“There is a political environment in the country, especially in Lahore, as leaders of every political party are making different statements and each telling stance of his party,” said the former premier.

“Asif Zardari, Shehbaz Sharif, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman came to our residence, and during our meetings with them, detailed discussions about Nawaz Sharif and other issues from the past occurred,” claimed Shujaat.

“Some suggestions were also made during the meetings, and it will be too early to reveal them now,” added he.

“If politicians remain busy in meetings, they will lose public trust in them,” he said, and adding that political career of all the politicians would end if issues such as bad economic circumstances and unemployment were not addressed.

“Those who elect us should be heard. Economic problems of the country should be given importance,” he stressed.
