The police in Islamabad have arrested a man who was on the run after killing his fiancée about two weeks ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Barakahu police on Tuesday arrested accused Adnan who killed his fiancée in Islamabad on February 13.
The accused invited her fiancée, Rimla, for a meeting but later shot her dead on the spot.
The police also recovered the weapon which was used for the murder of the girl after obtaining information from the accused.
Earlier on February 15, 2025, the police have arrested a man who allegedly killed his 17-year-old niece for honour in Jalti area of Rawalpindi.
The accused was identified as Waseem who killed his niece Naleen Zahra by poisoning her, buried the body and pretended to make the incident appear a natural death.
