The Sindh government has imposed a medical emergency across the province, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
The Sindh Health Department has sent a letter, issuing directives to take emergency measures to deal with any untoward incident on the election.
The holidays of medical and paramedical staff have been cancelled on February 8 while medical and paramedical staff in all hospitals have been asked to be alert.
The department issued instructions to set up medical camps outside all polling stations across the province including Karachi.
It also issued instructions to ensure the presence of paramedical staff and medicine in medical camps.
