The first phase of Family Cycling Riders was successfully concluded in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The Family Cycling Riders race started from Liberty Chowk, Lahore, and concluded at the same venue.
Provincial Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, Vice-Chairman Punjab Sports Board Malik Suleman, and Director-General Sports Khizar Afzaal Bhatti also participated in the cycling race
More than 600 cyclists are taking part in the race.
The race covered a distance of 10 kilometers. The second phase of the race will start from Nishtar Sports Complex in Lahore. The concluding ceremony will be held in the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore.
Separate cycling races for girls and boys will also be held, ensuring broad participation across age groups and genders.
At the end of the ceremony, Provincial Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub distributed prizes among the winners.
Zainab Farhan won first position in the female category, Ali Nasir gained first position in the male category, and Ayan Adil achieved first position in the children's category.
It is necessary to mention here that Provincial Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar fell as he lost control due to the disbalancing of the cycle, after which he was immediately provided with first-aid.
