After hearing the petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), the Islamabad High Court has declared the Chief Commissioner’s NOC rerun orders as null and void, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq issued a 5-page written order on PTI’s plea.
The court ordered Islamabad’s administration to decide on PTI’s application according to law and mention the reasons, which led to the cancellation of the NOC.
The court order said that the Islamabad Chief Commissioner did not inform any PTI representative before withdrawing the NOC.
PTI’s jalsa NOC request will be considered pending before the Islamabad administration. As per the order dated 5th July NOC was withdrawn due to the law and order situation in Muharram.
PTI had filed an application in the court against the Chief Commissioner's order.
