Pakistan’s junior volleyball team Friday secured a second consecutive victory in the U-19 Volleyball World Championship by convincingly defeating host nation Uzbekistan in straight sets, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Pakistan had already defeated Belgium 3-0 in their first match of the championship.
In today's match, the national U19 team displayed aggressive and coordinated gameplay, overpowering the home side with a 3-0 set victory.
The match scores were 25-23, 25-18, and 25-21, displaying Pakistan's dominance throughout the contest.
Pakistan will face Turkey in their third group-stage match scheduled for July 26, which is expected to be a more challenging encounter.
