A woman delivered a baby in an ambulance of Rescue 1122 on her way to the hospital in Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to details, the woman was admitted to the Civil Hospital for Shikarpur for delivery purpose, but later she was referred to a hospital in Sukkur.
The Rescue 1122 team immediately transferred her to an ambulance, but the woman, wife of Ghulam Murtaza, went into labour and gave birth to a baby on her way to the hospital.
The Rescue 1122 team helped the woman during her labour and assisted her in delivering the baby.
Rescue 1122 sources said that condition of both the mother and her child is stable. Later, they were returned to the Civil Hospital in Shikarpur.
The husband of the woman thanked the Rescue 1122 team for providing them with timely assistance.
