Sri Lankan Consul General Sanjeewa Patiwela called on Sindh Governor Muhammad Nihal Hashmi at the Governor House Karachi and discussed bilateral relations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on ways to enhance Pakistan-Sri Lanka collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
Governor emphasized Sindh offers vast opportunities for investment, trade, tourism and joint ventures. He stressed the importance of boosting Pakistan's exports to Lanka, while strengthening links between the business communities of both nations.
The governor highlighted textiles, rice, pharmaceuticals, sports goods and agricultural products among Pakistan's key exports to Sri Lanka.
