Another Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight attendant has gone missing in Toronto, bringing the total number of male and female flight attendants in Canada to 14, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.
According to the details, the missing flight attendant Noor Sher was assigned to flight PK 781 from Islamabad to Toronto. His disappearance was discovered when he failed to report for the return flight.
Noor Sher has three wives: one is a British citizen, another resides in Manchester, and the third lives in Pakistan. He also owns three houses in Islamabad.
Noor Sher was part of the 16-member flight crew on flight PK 781 from Islamabad to Toronto.
The sources said that all the missing flight attendants have allegedly applied for asylum in Canada.
The sources said a female flight attendant, who has been in a Toronto jail, was assigned to the Toronto flight more than 10 times despite clear instructions not to assign her to this route.
The sources said separate committees were formed by the Ministry of Aviation and the national airline to probe and fix the responsibility for Hina Sani's assignment but there has been no progress in the investigations so far.
The PIA spokesperson stated that departmental action has been initiated against Noor Sher.
The spokesperson said all previously missing flight attendants have been terminated from their jobs while the Ministry of Aviation and airline inquiry committees' report regarding Hina Sani's assignment is still awaited.
