The Election Commission’s District Monitoring Officer of Malakand has issued notice to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari again on violation of local bodies’ election codes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The 24News HD TV channel reported on Friday that the Malakand DMO Zia-Ur-Rahim has summoned Bilawal to appear on March 27 for an explanation over the issue of holding a public rally in Malakand.
The DMO had summoned Bilawal for appearing today (Friday) but he did not appear in person or through his lawyer so now is directed to appear again on March 27 for clarification.
It is also mentioned in the notice that in case of non-appearance, unilateral action will be taken as per law against Bilawal Bhutto.
